This is not a reproduction of a medieval torch. It is a medieval torch — built using the same materials and the same techniques that blacksmiths have used for centuries, rewired for modern use.
The torch body is a single piece of steel, hammered and twisted at forging temperature to create the characteristic taper and surface texture. The crown is formed from individual iron strips, each heated and bent to curl outward around the bulb socket. The mounting plate is a flat-hammered square of steel with slightly raised edges — you can see the hammer marks. That is not a manufacturing defect. That is the work.

Entrance halls, stairwells, dining rooms, wine cellars, outdoor terraces, garden walls. Anywhere you want warmth, character, and the feeling that the building has been standing for a long time. Pairs naturally with stone walls, exposed brick, and heavy timber.
