Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through forged-works.com, operated by Forged — Iron & Fire, registered at Blejska Dobrava 62, 4273 Blejska Dobrava, Slovenia. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Products

All products are handmade to order by our master blacksmiths. Due to the nature of handcraft, each piece is unique. Slight variations in dimensions, weight, colour, and finish are inherent to the process and are not considered defects — they are marks of authentic craftsmanship.

Product images on our website represent the general design. Your piece may differ slightly from the photographs shown.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

We accept payment via credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and direct bank transfer (SEPA). Payment is due at the time of order. Orders are not confirmed until payment is received in full.

4. Orders & Production

Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirms receipt of your order, not acceptance. We reserve the right to decline orders at our discretion.

Production times vary by product:

• Standard products: 4–6 weeks
• Custom/bespoke pieces: 6–12 weeks depending on complexity
• Small items (keychains, bottle openers): 2–3 weeks

We will notify you if production time exceeds the estimated period.

5. Cancellations & Modifications

Orders may be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of placement. After this period, production may have begun and cancellation is no longer possible.

Custom or personalised orders (e.g., with name plates or engravings) cannot be cancelled once production has started.

6. Shipping

We ship throughout the European Union. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Free shipping is available on orders over €100 within Slovenia.

For deliveries outside the EU, please contact us for a quote. International customers may be responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by their country.

7. Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your piece. If you are not satisfied:

• Standard products may be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original, unused condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Custom and personalised products (including items with engravings, custom sizes, or bespoke designs) are non-returnable and non-refundable.
• Damaged items: If your product arrives damaged due to shipping, contact us within 48 hours with photographs. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund.

Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving the returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

8. Warranty

All Forged products are built to last. We offer a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This covers structural failures and finish deterioration under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or natural weathering beyond normal patina.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including photographs, text, designs, and logos — is the property of Forged — Iron & Fire and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forged — Iron & Fire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Slovenia.
